Hi. I'm a nerd. For instance, the coolest thing that's happened to me lately? I got a small research grant to study Lie Algebras and Lie Groups this summer. Yay, me! I'm also boning up on my Java skills this summer in preparation for a new round of computer science courses. That said, I have broad interests, a big library (I used to own a bookstore), and a desire to make Wikipedia better. As a mathematician, I appreciate the site -- it's a decent reference for math and science related subjects. But as an encyclopedia, it leaves something to be desired. Namely, I can't cite it as a source for any legitimate academic research. It could be better, and I'd like to help make it better.
