The Namibian Navy

The Namibian Navy Maritime Wing, popularly know as the Namibian Navy had been officially founded in 1994. The Navy workforce received training abroad particularly in Brazil. By 2009 the Navy had a coastal patrol boat delivered and their headquarters established at Walvis Bay. Throughout the years since it was founded,the Navy has worked in close alliance with Spain, Norway, Denmark and South Africa for higher standards and experience.
