Chris Hamper is a physics teacher and author, living in Norway. He was born in the United Kingdom and studied in University of Leeds. He then taught in the Sidney Stringer School in Coventry and moved to Norway to teach in the Red Cross Nordic United World College in Flekke since it opened in 1995 and where he still teaches.
He is involved in the Online Curriculum Centre (OCC) by the International Baccalaureate Organization and leads workshops for new and experienced IB Diploma Programme physics teachers.[1]
Chris Hamper is the author of the two books Higher Level Physics and Standard Level Physics for the IB Diploma Program, the former being co-authored by Keith Ord. Both books are published by Pearson Education and are amongst the most widely used Physics book for at the secondary level.[2]
