Lufuno Mavhunga

Lufuno Mavhunga was a South African born citizen from Limpopo, Thohoyandou. She was the last born of the Mavhunga family and the closest to her ill mother. She attended Mbilwi Secondary School and was a grade 10 learner at that school. Her passing traumatized social media after a video of her being bullied at school went viral. The bulling had occurred after she had blocked her bully on her social media platforms after allegations of Cyber bullying took place. Most of her school mates and family members remembered her to be a kind, loving and friendly person. She was also a bright student and excelled in her academics and had the wish of becoming a doctor so she could treat her ill mother. After the video went viral it was hard for her to cope with life and the embarrassment the video had caused an she later on committed suicide by pill overdose. The perpetrator was arrested and appeared in court along with three other school mates.
