Tony Hartl is the founder of Planet Tan, a chain of tanning salons based in the Dallas area.
Biography
[edit]Hartl's book Selling Sunshine (2011),[1] written with a Foreword by the EO Apex Forum, is an autobiographical look at Hartl's early life, business journey, and ultimate success with the sale of Planet Tan. It includes 75 sections, laid out in a tip-based format, for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Personal life
[edit]He has been married to his wife, Donna Garff, for over 50 years and has four children, fifteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He and his family reside in Bethesda, MD.
