So as the legend said, God had an oven and he had just fashioned a piece of clay in the form of a human being he was creating in his own image. He placed that clay figure of a person into the oven. When he opened the oven to see the creation, he was dismayed because the clay was overcooked and therefore charred or black..

So he fashioned another clay figure of a person and again placed the figure inside the oven. Later he opened the oven but he was unhappy about the result, as human form was taken from the open early and therefore the figmentation was light or white.

This time God in his infinite wisdom resolved to do the right thing and have his creation come right. So he carefully fashioned the clay and even talk to it repeating that this third creation will be the product of his love and resolve. He then again placed the form into the oven and when he opened the oven, he was very happy. The human he created is just right and brown.

So we should be proud that we are brown skinned. We are God's perfect creation. And the saying is still

true: Kayumangging Kaligatan
