Welcome!

[edit]

Hi, and thanks for visiting my userpage. I think that Wikipedia is a great and horrible thing. Wikipedia is great for people who want to learn more about almost anything they can imagine. They just type something into the search and press go. Wikipedia is horrible for alot of the editors. People like me troll hours of their free time into making Wikipedia as precise and easy-to-read as possible. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE what I do on Wikipedia, but the addiction to such an odd hobby seems peculiar to some. I hope that Wikipedia continues to spread FREE knowledge to anyone with internet access, around the globe, and through the coming ages. There is no doubt in my mind that Wikipedia will extend one of it's many hands to the technology the future has to offer. The BEST kind of knowledge bases are the kinds HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of people contribute to. Everybody has something to offer, and with Wikipedia, all of that comes together in one place.

With that being said, go on! Do what you must do! I have some questions for you before you leave my Userpage to leave me a message or view my contributions:

  • Is there anything I can do to make my userpage better? If so, please let me know by leaving a message on

my talk page.

  • Are you new to Wikipedia? Congratulations! Please let me know if you have ANY questions about ANYTHING

on Wikipedia.

Images are important for illustrative purposes, and to make articles less boring.
  • Is there something I did wrong on a contribution? Please let me know if there is any way

I can help make that particular article better.

My Edits

[edit]

Spelling and Grammar

[edit]

If I am editing an article, I always check for spelling and grammar mistakes. I am not an expert on such things, but my browser is equipped with a tool that quickly checks for mistakes and places a red line under such mistakes. If an article has these kinds of errors, it makes the article look sloppily done, and people are less likely to trust such an article, making this VERY important.

Subjects

[edit]
I give my thanks to Wikipedia, the encyclopedia anyone can edit.

The articles I edit usually fall into three categories:

  • Computer and Video Games
  • Food
  • Culture & Entertainment

Editing Philosophy

[edit]

My editing philosophy is simple. Articles usually get one chance to catch the interest in people. Articles that are short or have no pictures will be found boring by people, and people with seek out information elsewhere. Please make articles in a way that will be both interesting and informative to the highest detail.

I like pictures like these, that are simple, but can show a lot.

Edit Wars

[edit]

I don't like edit wars. They are very hard to get through, because usually both sides are confident they are right. In most cases, I believe it is best to come to an agreement, or contact a third person. If I fall into an an edit war, I will want to stop it right away, because I hope to one day become an administrator. If you would like to nominate me or anyone else, please see Wikipedia:Admin.
