John Ellingson, (born 20 December, 1972) in Waukon, Iowa. He is best known for being a husband, father, and community servant.

Education: He graduated from Waukon Senior High and attended the University of Dubuque and the University of Oslo where he studied Political Science and Government Function.

Public Service:John has served on the Waukon Zoning Board, Board of Adjustment, Airport Commission, 3 terms on the Waukon City Council , led the Public Safety Committee to build a new County Jail and he currently heads a committee looking to organize and build a new Day Care Center in the community.
