I don't really have much to say about myself. I'm just kinda here, y'know? I wouldn't write anything here if it weren't for the annoying red signature. So, huh, about me. For the past 5 or so years my life has revolved around Free Republic where I am, simply put, "the computer guy."

I'm a huge fan of the Perl programming language and The Unix Way(tm). I'm rather keen on Linux, Gentoo, Apache, mod_perl, MySQL, Firefox, bash, VIm, classic WinAmp, music in general, especially "dark" music. I listen to Theatre of Tragedy, Nightwish, Delerium, Battery, Switchblade Symphony, NiN, The Cure, Andrea Bocelli (!) and bunches of other stuff. I'm a pretend chef, lately have been enthralled with the Food channel. I like Blizzard games, Diablo, Diablo 2, and lately World of Warcraft, though I don't play nearly as often as I wish I could. As an aside, my most "compatible" WoW class would be the Warlock, I really like the "hurt me, hurt you" play style (oh so emo!) Which reminds me of Magic: The Gathering. In '95 I played a one year stint as co-owner and operator of a card shop that featured MtG. I've also worked as an in-house graphics designer, computer programmer, and system administrator for an ISP.
