My name is John, I'm the current student writer for the Department of Computer Sciences of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am currently tasked with writing or making contributions to Wikipedia articles concerning members of our faculty, which makes me a paid editor. Note that I am not specifically being paid for writing the articles, but rather that I am being paid for the position, of which writing the Wikipedia articles happens to be one of my tasks. Therefore, I do not think I have a COI issue.
