The Bibliotheca Lindesiana was the library of the earls of Crawford, and for most of its history it was located at Haigh Hall near Wigan, now in Greater Manchester.

Manuscripts
[edit]The 25th and 26th earls of Crawford created one of the largest collections of manuscripts in Britain, between the 1830s and 1901.[1]
