As you saw this page is fake, but here's the kicker this page is real however seems a lot of people think Wikipedia is a terrible website to get info from the title is a joke. Wikipedia articles are safe people take this too seriously, but if you are really worried most articles people get information from can only be edited by wiki admins so if you cant edit it its safe.

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-173 is to be kept in a locked container at all times. When personnel must enter SCP-173's container, no fewer than 3 may enter at any time and the door is to be relocked behind them. At all times, two persons must maintain direct eye contact with SCP-173 until all personnel have vacated and relocked the container.

Description: Moved to Site-19 1993. Origin is as of yet unknown. It is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP-173 is animate and extremely hostile. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Line of sight must not be broken at any time with SCP-173. Personnel assigned to enter container are instructed to alert one another before blinking. Object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation. In the event of an attack, personnel are to observe Class 4 hazardous object containment procedures.

Personnel report sounds of scraping stone originating from within the container when no one is present inside. This is considered normal, and any change in this behavior should be reported to the acting HMCL supervisor on duty.

The reddish brown substance on the floor is a combination of feces and blood. Origin of these materials is unknown. The enclosure must be cleaned on a bi-weekly basis.

Addendum 173-01: Sometime during early 2023, SCP-173 appeared to be sprouting?.. 2 other SCP-173s, Senior Researcher [DATA EXPUNDGED] has called for duties to continue as normal. Note: increase the number of Class-Ds to clean from 3 to 5. -Assistant Researcher Brown 28/2/2023.

Addendum 173-02: During a standard cleaning protocol SCP-173 split into 3 looking almost identical to the original one they have all been named SCP-173-1 to 3, SCP-173's have been put into different containment cells, O5-9 has ordered for more security on all Sculptures. -Senior Researcher ███████ 2/7/2023.

Addendum 173-03: SCP-173-2 & SCP-173-3 have split into 2 more Sculptures there are now currently 5 of them, this "Split" seems to happen once every 6 months, some Researchers have said its possible for more than 1 new Sculpture to come from the "Split" O5 Council considering to reclassify SCP-173 as Keter -Head Researcher ███████ 4/1/2024.

Addendum 173-04: SCP-173-1 to -3 are in cable of regrowing more 173's but they appear to be getting larger no extra limbs or heads spotted so far, -4 and -5 currently may split into 2 more or 3 more, guards increased on those 2. -Researcher Brown 5/21/2024.

Addendum 173-06: There's a lot of them, well not a lot, but a fair amount about 28 I've heard, there are so many in Site-19, The Council is making a new site just for them named Site-173, we have given up on cleaning, SCP-173 has gotten noticeably larger than before, I heard the council is thinking of shooting the ones that haven't split yet into the sun, foolproof plan, some of them can be destroyed with fire, firearms, acid so I think they think the sun is the best option to stop this shit. Addendum 173-07: The shooting peanuts into the sun plan has been approved by the ethics committee and all of the O5s they built over 40 rocket ships to launch any that could split into the sun, any that can't split are remaining in Site-173 and Site-19, hopefully this plan works, I hope. -Research Director ███████ 16/6/2025

Addendum 173-11: The SCP-173 mass horde has been renamed "The Sculpture's Line", fitting because that's what it is a line of 173's. We revealed our existence to the public last month, they did not take it well, but they are beginning to cope, all of the wars have stopped to deal with this possible end of the world event, Russia, China, America, North Korea oh pretty much every country with nukes and missiles is lending them to hopefully shoot down most of them before they hit us, the general public is mostly kept in the dark about the rest, they only know about that Sculpture Line, it's best they don't hear about the other horrors we have locked up, The Serpents Hand has basically disbanded since the public knows now. -Site-173 Director, Assistant Site-19 Director ███████ 25/8/2028

Addendum 173-12: The Council hopes that they hit sooner, because if they do we will have less to deal with, we only have a year to go, there's over 3,000 of them now possibly 10,000 once they get here, oh god. Addendum 173-15: It worked that thing was blown to bits all of those flying 173's just stopped, we knew they would make it safely into the atmospheres and then the ground, based on a couple of early ones, but it seems with the original dead they all just burnt up. We currently have 26 live ones all named SCP-173-A to -Z, Site-173 is no longer important and is possibly being rebuilt into another site not just for 173's, end of the world adverted. -Site-19 Director ███████ 17/6/2031
