Proposed Edit for Thanks and Giving page

Thanks and Giving is an annual fundraising and awareness campaign that supports the mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a leading pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases that was founded by entertainer Danny Thomas. The program, created in 2004, unites celebrities, media, retail and corporate partners in fundraising activities from Thanksgiving until the New Year. Retail partners nationwide ask customers to make donations at the point of sale and/or to buy specialty merchandise in support of St. Jude.

Thanks and Giving was created by St. Jude National Outreach Director Marlo Thomas and her siblings Terre Thomas and Tony Thomas, children of hospital founder Danny Thomas. To date the campaign has raised nearly $400 million to support St. Jude.
