Piggy (stylized in all caps) is an episodic horror game series that used to be based off Peppa Pig but has now taken on as it's own Fandom on the gaming and game development platform Roblox. The game is set in a zombie apocalypse where you have to solve puzzles to open doors and find the exit. The game has also won multiple Bloxy Awards during the 8th Annual Bloxy Awards, including Game of the Year. Piggy also collaborated with Metallica in an event called Metallica x Piggy Event.
Gameplay
[edit]Much similar to the game Granny, players have to solve puzzles whilst avoiding an infected. However, unlike Granny, players can play with a maximum of six. There are also six different gamemodes, Bot, Player, Player + Bot, Infection, Traitor, Swarm and Tag. In Bot, an AI takes control of Piggy. In Player, one of the players is selected as Piggy and have to kill the people. In Player + Bot, one player is selected as Piggy while the AI takes control of the Bot. In Infection, one person is selected as Piggy and, instead of dying once getting hit, players get turned into Piggy. In Traitor, one player will be given a knife and has to kill the other players before they escape. In Swarm, the gameplay will play the same except after every minute a new AI Piggy skin will spawn in with different speeds. In Tag, five players will be turned into a Crawling Trap, one of the traps in the game, and have to escape but have to Tag the one that isn't first.
Survivors have around 10 minutes to escape each chapter. They have to explore each room in the map to find keys to unlock other rooms to get to the exit door. Other than keys, players can also find other objects such as wrenches to help open laser doors. Players can also find items which they can give to Non-player characters to help stun Piggy for around 20 seconds. Players, however, can be killed from fall damage or from acid.
Piggy has to catch the players within the map. If someone is Piggy, they will be given traps that they can use to trap the players to catch them. Piggy also can't take any damage from high places or from acid.
Plot
[edit]Chapter 1: House
[edit]The protagonist arrives at the Piggy residence for a missing case for a kid named Georgie Piggy. Upon getting out of their police car, they're immediately knocked out and taken into the house. Upon waking up, they realise their captor was Georgie's older sister, Penny Piggy, who had turned infected. Upon escaping, the protagonist questions what was going on and decides to go to the station for answers.
Chapter 2: Station
[edit]Upon arriving, the protagonist hears over the intercom from their old partner, Doggy, that another monster is in the station and to get to the garage. The protagonist soon finds Doggy in the garage and Doggy tells them to find some gasoline so they can leave. They're soon able to find soke gas and fuels Doggy’s car up and the the leave.
