John Elwood McFarlane new article content ...
John Elwood McFarlane (PhD Entomology U. Illinois 1956) conducted research into insect physiology at the Macdonald Campus of McGill University from 1957 until his retirement in 1993. For several years he was the chair of the Entomology Department, known for the Lyman Museum.
Prof. McFarlane had numerous publications, most of which are listed below.
Dr. McFarlane was married to Clare Elizabeth Bradley in 1960, and had three children, Joanna (b. 1961), Sarah (b. 1965), and Thomas Bradley (b. 1967). He is survived by 7 grandchildren.
