Grupo Firme

I visited the Grupo Frime article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on, is there anything left out in the article that should be there, are all the facts cited with an appropriate reliable source and lastly are any of the links dead.

Grupo Firme is a very popular, rapidly growing band in the Hispanic community. The band was created in 2014 by Edwin Cazares and his brother Joaquín Ruiz, they decided to release an album called Presente, Pasado y Futuro which wasn’t as successful as they thought it would be. Something that caught my attention was that the article didn’t talk about how a couple of years ago they were not as well known as they are today. Recently in twenty - twenty one  Grupo Firme put out on social media that they were finally going on tour. They started their tour at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California back in July where they performed for seven consecutive nights. All seven shows were completely sold out. They became the first Latin act to perform the most shows in a single calendar year at this venue. These first three shows that they had were extremely successful and a  big milestone in their rapidly growing career.

Not only did I read over the article and the information it mentioned but I also decided to make sure that the sources were appropriate and reliable. When reviewing the links I found that they all take me to reputable websites. The web page took me to all .org sites which are sources well known that you are able to trust.

For the most part, the Wikipedia page is up to date but I did notice that there were a couple of things that were not included to make it one hundred percent up to date. The things that they didn’t get to mention were more about the successes that they had this year on their most recent tour, also on how they have become more well known.

Lastly, Grupo Firme has been a big hit this year in the Latin community. This group is not just another band, but they encourage every single one of their fans to follow their dreams. They started from nothing to having all sold-out shows this year and they are not stopping there. I believe that one of the many things that made them grow so fast was their way of putting on such an amazing show and their ways of being so humble.
