Davut Altundal, known professionally as AK Ausserkontrolle, is a German rapper of Kurdish descent and Turkish citizenship from Berlin.
Life
[edit]AK Ausserkontrolle was born in Germany.[1] His parents are Kurds from Turkey. They immigrated to Lebanon and later moved to Germany. He grew up in Wedding, a borough of Berlin. His brother Fux Ausserkontrolle founded the hip hop group Ausserkontrolle where AK Ausserkontrolle was member a long time.[2] In 2017, he decided to go separate ways. In the same year, he also signed at Erstguterjunge, the music label of the rapper Bushido and his business partner Arafat Abou Chaker. After a big dispute between Bushido and Arafat, the label split up and AK Ausserkontrolle and almost all the other signings have left it in 2018.[3] After that, he founded his own label XY Records.[4]
In the past, AK Ausserkontrolle committed some burglaries and robberies in stores.[5][6] Because of his previous convictions, he was requested to leave Germany to Turkey in 2019.[7] But he announced opposition and in May 2019 he got a residence permit which is valid for at least three years.[8]
AK Ausserkontrolle wears a bandana which covered his face to stay anonymous.
