This is a list of the extreme points of the island of Ireland and its offshore islands.
Ireland is divided into two jurisdictions, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland . When the island's extreme point is in the Republic, the corresponding extreme point within Northern Ireland is also listed, and vice versa.

Often the term "" is used when encompassing the entire country/island from north to south (cf. Land's End to John o'Groats in Great Britain ). Mizen Head , in West Cork , is popularly described as the "most south-western point in Ireland". The promontory hosts a lighthouse and radio/weather station , now a tourist attraction.
