Jeff Bryant is employed by Wolfram Research, Inc. where he has worked in a number of departments including technical support, marketing, and software engineering. He has worked on projects related to Mathematica[1][2][3] as well as Wolfram Alpha[4][5][6]. He was a graduate of Ball State University where he received both his bachelors and master of science degrees. His graduate research involved the study of cataclysmic variable stars[7], specifically IP Pegasi. His employment with Wolfram Research began in 1999, shortly after graduation. Currently, he works as an editor for the Wolfram Demonstrations Project as well as one of the developers of astronomical content for Wolfram Alpha. He is a member of the Champaign-Urbana Astronomical Society[8] where he has served as president, vice president, secretary, and fifth director. His primary interests include not only astronomy, but also scientific visualization, and fossil hunting.
