[edit](Compose a detailed peer review here, considering each of the key aspects listed above if it is relevant. Consider the guiding questions, and check out the examples of what feedback looks like.)
Lead
Overall, the lead is well done. It is concise but also gives enough information on what slow violence actually means. It could briefly mention the major sections of the rest of the paragraph, though since the article is short, this is not necessary.
- grammar wise --> consider replacing "other violences" with "other forms of violence"
Content
- Is the content added relevant to the topic? Yes, the content added was relevant. Adding different definitions allows the reader to form their own opinions on what they want to consider slow violence and providing examples was helpful in understanding what slow violence looks like.
- Is the content added up-to-date? Yes. Most of the sources are recent and the case studies that were touched on are still happening. Slow violence against both women and Indigenous peoples is still happening around the world.
- Is there content that is missing or content that does not belong? There is nothing that does not belong, but perhaps more information could be provided in the policing section. Or it could be linked to an article that talks about the history of the police or the RCMP if there is one.
- Does the article deal with one of Wikipedia's equity gaps? Does it address topics related to historically underrepresented populations or topics? Yes. Slow violence generally affects marginalized people and this article is bringing awareness to that fact.
Overall, the content you are adding is really good! It will actually relate to the content I am adding to my article so maybe I can link them together.
Tone and Balance
Most of the information written sounds neutral. The only section that I am slightly concerned about is "Indigenous suffering". Though I agree with the stance, the writing in this section urges readers to be sympathetic towards the Indigenous peoples, instead of just stating facts.
Sources and References
The sources I clicked on worked and going from the citations at the bottom, most of them are recent. If you have time, I would consider looking into a few more sources just to back up the information you already have. All the facts are cited and I liked that you linked to many other Wikipedia articles.
All the sources legitimate. Good job!
Organization
The article is well-written, though I would self-edit before submitting it. A few of the sentences could be a bit clearer, but overall I did not have a difficult time understanding your information. I suggest downloading Grammarly to ensure that everything is spelled correctly.
Images and Media
I liked the images you chose. They are relevant to the sections and you have added informative captions.
Overall Impressions
You did a really good job taking a mostly incomplete article and giving it a base! I think this article has a lot of potential and now that it is started, other editors can continue to add to it.
