Very brief notes about myself--

I was born in Buffalo, New York during Kennedy's presidency. I grew up in Amherst-- yes, Amherst, even though the neighborhood I grew up in is in the Williamsville postal zone.^[2] I am a left-handed male. I try to improve Wikipedia primarily through correction of grammar and typographical errors. I also try to be fairly easygoing, though as evidenced by the footnotes below, I can certainly be opinionated, too.

I have occasionally edited Wikipedia without logging in. The IP addresses that I have found from which some edits are ones that I made are:

^ By the way, I am one of those who strongly objects to the glib use of the term "upstate New York." I think it is often a careless and offensive characterization fostered by residents/natives of New York City who-- as the famous New Yorker cover shows-- consider their city the focus of the entire state, if not the world, whereby everything north and west of, say, the Rockland/Westchester county lines is a trifling afterthought.
