Alex Lacey (born 31 May 1993) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Conference National side Luton Town F.C..
Youth career
[edit]At the age of fourteen Lacey joined Luton Town's centre of excellence.[3]
Club career

[edit]Lacey signed his first professional contract with Luton Town on the 5 November 2010.[3]
Lacey made his debut for Luton Town in a FA Trophy tie against Welling at Kenilworth Road on the 12 December 2010.[4]
Lacey made his league debut against Wrexham on the 30 April 2011, coming on as a substitute for George Pilkington in the 67 minute.[5] After the match former Luton Town striker Jason Walker said of Lacey "I know what he’s like in training and he showed out there he’s got class."[6]
Cambridge City
[edit]Lacey joined Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division team Cambridge City on a one month loan on the 15 August 2011.[7] Lacey's contribution to Cambridge City's cause saw his loan extended for a further month.[8] Lacey eventually made fourteen appearances, twelve in the league and two in the FA Cup for Cambridge City.[1]
Thurrock F.C.
[edit]Lacey joined Blue Square Bet South side Thurrock on loan for a month in November 2011.[9] Lacey made four appearances, three in the league and one in the Essex Senior Cup.[2]
Eastbourne Borough
[edit]Lacey joined Blue Square Bet South side Eastbourne Borough on a months loan beginning the 18 February 2012.[10]
