IT'S ALL ABOUT CHOICES
By Daniel Ayamba Adamu
Every successful person has a painful story, so never give up. A school bell that sounds as a disturbance at 8:am also sounds interesting at 2: pm… Every joyful experience and painful experience are alike enjoyed by every successful and unsuccessful people.
It is either you enjoy the pains first and later enjoy the joy or you enjoy the joy first and later enjoy the pains. it all boils down on the choices we make in life. while others enjoy lounging around thinking there’s time, others see that there’s no time at hand and so go through all the hustles to gain later.
So, I ask, which one are you opting for; to enjoy now and suffer later or to suffer now and enjoy later?
It is just a matter of time. So, don’t envy anyone. Not everyone walking fast has an appointment, some have running stomachs!
Naturally, we all can never be the same. Others will be tall while others short, others will be white and others black. we can never be the same, let’s not compare. Let’s appreciate and be content with what is at our disposal.
If a rose flower smells better than tomatoes, it doesn’t mean the rose flower can make a better stew. Don’t try to compare yourself to others. You also have your strength, look for it, and build on it. All animals that exist, were in Noah’s ark. A snail is one of those animals.
If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah’s ark; His door of grace won’t close till you reach your expected position in life. Never look down on yourself, keep looking up. Remember that Broken crayon is still a color. Keep on pushing, you never can tell how close you are to your goal.
Life is not a race, where we need a first, second, third…positions but a choice. Just apply the acronym; CWCW (choose well, choose wisely)
The fact that someone is enjoying today and you are suffering doesn’t mean you will not be successful. The fact that someone is enjoying today doesn’t also mean you will be successful. it all matters the way we make our choices.
Let’s make good choices, set SMART (Specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound) goals, enhance our readiness to achieve the goals, and with God, by our side, we shall succeed.
