I am a librarian working at the State Library of New South Wales, working with the Wikipedia: GLAM/SLNSW project.

We are enhancing articles relating to people and items featured in the Library's One Hundred exhibition which celebrated the centenary of the Library in 2011. We are also creating new articles, or enhancing existing articles relating to newspapers published in New South Wales, which have been, or are going to be digitized and made available on Trove, a national database hosted by the National Library of Australia.

I have published my first article today, which is about Jean Garling, a generous benefactor who bequeathed her whole estate to the Library. I will also be writing some stub articles about some early New South Wales newspapers.

I am also working on enhancing several existing articles including those about Mary Bryant, Francis de Groot, Seven Little Australians, James Ruse.
