Faulkner County Democratic Women also known as the FCDW, is a local chapter club of the Arkansas Federation of Democratic Women. Located in Faulkner County, Arkansas, the FCDW work to elect Democratic candidates in Faulkner County and throughout the state of Arkansas. Other functions of the group include initiating and carrying out programs and projects on behalf of the Democratic Party and Democratic Party nominees, lobbying for legislation that advances the Democratic Party platform, and serving local communities in ways consistent with Democratic Party ideals. Although primarily a women's organization, the FCDW also allows men to hold associate memberships without voting privileges.[1] Faulkner County encompasses the cities of Conway, Greenbrier, Holland, Mayflower, and Quitman, and the towns of Damascus, Enola, Guy, Mt. Vernon, Twin Groves, Vilonia, and Wooster. [2]
