The Oriental Astronomical Association (東亜天文学会, Tōa Tenmon Gakkai) (OAA) is the oldest astronomical organization in Japan, first founded on September 25, 1920.[1] by Issei Yamamoto[2][3]. Since 1920, the organization has published the monthly journal The Heavens (天界, Tenkai)[4]

The asteroid 3935 Toatenmongakkai is named in honor of the organization.[3]
