Laurie Buchanan (born Lauren Tarryn Buchanan; 12 August 1994) is a British female guitarist and the sibling of critically acclaimed[6][7][8][9] vocalist Aaron Buchanan, the former Heaven's Basement frontman[10]. Buchanan is a regular YouTuber with over 3000 YouTube subscribers and 390,000+ hits on her channel to date[11] . She is best known as the co-founder and rhythm & lead guitarist of the alternative rock band Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics.

Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics
[edit]Laurie Buchanan is an original member of Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics which are to release debut album "The Man With Stars On His Knees" on 26th May 2017. The roll-out of the record was financed by a successful PledgeMusic campaign[19]. Sibling Aaron Buchanan worked with Laurie on the demo's between 2011 and 2016 prior to solidifying the live outfit line-up which also consists of Tom McCarthy (Guitar), Chris Guyatt (Bass) & Kev Hickman (Drums). Laurie is the only other member bar Aaron Buchanan of the "The Cult Classics" line-up to feature on 'The Man With Stars On His Knees' album and is referenced as a key part in the production[20]. She is often referred to by the band as "The Boss"[21]. Buchanan is a keen graphic designer and a key part in critiquing the logo and album cover art of which the latter was produced by Sam Mayle
