Hello all- My name is John and I'm a graduate student in Johns Hopkins advanced academic program of biotechnology. Currently I work for a large pharma company where my position encompasses a wide range of biological skills, more specifically enzyme evolution and strain development of evolved enzymes.

On a personal note I enjoy the outdoors and have recently discovered the thrill of rock climbing. As an avid surfer, I spend most of my vacation time traveling the world in search of waves. I have visited 5 of the 7 continents and have plans to see them all.
