Jeff Schrembs was born in Louisville Kentucky in 1962. Immediately after delivery it was determined that he was experiencing RH incompatibility which was life threatening and underwent numerous blood transfusions, over a period of days, which were successful. His birth was traumatic and adversely affected his vision resulting in congenital cataracts in both eyes.

In spite of this condition he excelled in; school, sports (i.e. basketball, football, etc.), and an artist with his pieces receiving awards while in high school.

He resided in Louisville Kentucky until moving to Bowling Green Kentucky in 1976.

He attended the Art Institute of Atlanta, in Atlanta Georgia, from 1980-1981 with an emphasis on; charcoal drawings, pencil drawings, watercolor painting, and traditional oil paintings.

Mr. Schrembs gained the highest position in his chosen professional field, and received numerous awards while achieving consistent record success. He was an innovator in the areas of; credit, financial aspects, training and management.

Beside being an expert in his chosen profession he was, from a child, a fan of all types of music. This includes but is not limited to; country, gospel, rhythm and blues, rock, and some classical. However, the singer that he valued the most was that of Elvis Presley.

Mr. Schrembs started to collect "anything everything of quality" concerning Elvis Presley beginning in the 1960s. Inasmuch as one person can be Jeff Schrembs is an; Elvis Presley collector, Elvis Presley historian and an Elvis Presley expert.

What is known of his Elvis Presley collection is that it includes in excess of 162,000 cataloged photographs of Elvis Presley. Other than the Presley family, and/or Graceland/EPE, this is regarded as the most Elvis Presley photographs known to be in the possession of a collector. Parts of his collection are available on the highly acclaimed website of www.ElvisCollector.info.

www.ElvisCollector.info is one of the few Elvis Presley websites that restricts all advertising, all pop-ups all ads, etc. The content includes; rare documents, rare videos, rare pictures, original articles authored by Jeff Schrembs, along with making a decision, out of respect for Lisa Marie Presley, to limit certain personal aspects of Elvis Presley such as; Graceland, Elvis girlfriends (before and after being married to Priscilla) all the while acknowledging and respecting the role they played in the life of Elvis Presley.

Jeff Schrembs has been an "Elvis Presley advocate" for decades and continues to support and encourage others to support; Marty Lacker, Billy Smith, Red West, Sonny West, Lamar Fike (who sadly passed away recently),Joe Esposito and Jerry Schilling. He has the ultimate respect for Lisa Marie Presley, her husband, and each of Lisa Marie's children. Mr. Schrembs continually asks Elvis Presley fans worldwide to seek out, follow, support, and share with social media the endeavors of each of these people so that fans can get a "first hand" account of the life of Elvis onstage and off.

Additionally, he holds the utmost respect for; Alanna Nash (award winning writer/author)and Sandi Pichon (friend of Elvis' and co-worker with Sonny and Red West). The written works of Alanna Nash can be found in you local libraries and available for download or purchase through Amazon and other quality vendors.

Mr. Schrembs is proud of his relationship with many of those stated herein while respectfully keeping the extent of his relationship private where he has stated "it belongs".

The life of Elvis Presley was complex and Jeff Schrembs makes it a practice not to minimize, or neglect, the "truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth" about Elvis. His reason being is that so many things have been (sadly) written and spoken about Elvis Presley are either misunderstood, biased, untrue, and/or not put into context.

Mr. Schrembs was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and is forever grateful for the expertise of his Physician's, hospital facilities, specialists, and outpatient care. Jeff Schrembs asks, in person and in print, for everyone to have annual thyroid blood work done in order to ascertain if they have a thyroid disorder of any kind. This test is not part of the "routine testing" so please ensure that it is performed.

Mr. Schrembs was recently quoted, in response to a Canadian newspaper inquiry, as saying (1) "Elvis was truly a once in a century performer who only needed a stage, a microphone, and an audience and out of this he made some of the most beautiful music the world has ever known and put on a performance that the audience members never forgot". (2) "the world is a dimmer place since the passing of Elvis and not just the sequined jumpsuit caricature but the real man who had; hopes, dreams, love for many, a kind heart to help his fellow man, and contrary to many think was human" and (3) "we are the last generation who lived through several decades of Elvis and we, when time allows, should pass onto future generations the reality of Elvis meaning the good and the bad and the story of a boy who was born without means and rose to the pinnacle of worldwide success. He continued to be the greatest performer not just for a few years but for (3) three decades. He shared his talents with the world while thanking God for all of the blessing he received".

Jeff Schrembs ended this interview by saying "I am thankful most of all for my children and knowing the love of a great woman but as it pertains to Elvis I give up my time, and expertise, willingly with the hopes that others will use my input, website, or blogs as a springboard to then seek out the works of (including but not limited to) Alanna Nash and those who knew Elvis intimately". "Elvis was never boring and was not a saint but his story, and the decisions he made in his life, are worth looking at - Elvis always told others to go after what their heart tells them and to use the gifts god gave them and that hard work is honorable". "These are lessons, and experiences, that continue to withstand the test of time".
