Hi all!

My name is Jeremy Bernick (they/them). I am third-year J.D. candidate at the University of Arizona studying labor law.

I am passionate about worker justice and labor’s structural revival in global contexts. I’ve spent some time working as a union officer for my own Local, UCWAZ-CWA Local 7065, as a legal fellow at SEIU International’s General Counsel’s Office, and as a committee member for the Communication Workers of America’s Presidential AI Advisory Committee.

Prior to law school, I worked as a researcher for a National Science Foundation research center. My research focused on infrastructural corporate capture and instability related to the global internet governance model (ICANN). This project cemented my passion for open knowledge, open science, and open source infrastructures.

Beginning in January of 2025, I will be starting as a legal fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation!

I am an avid Wikipedian who frequents labor pages, strike history pages, geobiography and plant taxonomy pages, and bicycle history pages!
