Nick Connors is an American singer and songwriter from Houston, TX. Connors was discovered by and signed to Eclipse Music Groupin Nashville at the age of 17. The first two songs from his debut EP released in 2022 on streaming platforms. As he continues to build as a solo artist, Connors is a frequent collaborator on music for commercial uses, having recently co-written and performed music for TV and commercials.[1][2][3]
Early Life
[edit]Nick Connors grew up with his mother and brother in Houston, Texas. Connors started singing publicly at eleven years old. As a regular singer of The National Anthem he began to gain attention through performing for the Houston Texans, Rockets, and Astros.
Career
[edit]Connors created "Nick and the Groove", a teen cover band with members from School of Rock: Clear Lake. Connors was lead vocals. The group gained attention through videos of various covers after being formed in just six days. With no defined genre, the band takes away from their many influences, including Chris Stapleton, Steely Dan, and Rush.
