Nikolai Myaskovsky's Symphony No. 7 in B minor, Op. 24, was written between 1921 and 1922. It is one of only two symphonies by the composer to feature only two movements.
Movements
[edit]Like his Third Symphony of seven years prior, the symphony contains two movements:
- Andante sostenuto, calmo - Allegro minaccioso, poco stravagante
- Andante - Allegro scherzando e tenebroso
A performance of the symphony takes around 24 minutes.
