Beauty is a thing that can be different for all, but I see it as something very appealing to the eye.

What is art?

The Birth of Venus 1482-1486

Calvary 1457 - 60

Fountain 1917

Portrait of Aechje Claesdr 1634

Portrait of Rembrandt's Mother

I chose these paintings because they all go with descriptions of beauty throughout the short film. Each of the interesting pieces all were made with meaning, reasoning, and to show different emotions. For example The Birth of Venus is an old mythological piece that many artists may see beauty in due to the strong detail, history, colors and characters shown. This is a very advance painting for its time. Calvary another older painting can show emotion by giving the viewer a sense of pain when looking at the bodys posted up on the crosses. Each of the paintings I've chosen all interests me with their different styles all set in multiple different periods of time. All show a sense of beauty to me.

My favorite color based on the options of the link below is #336699 which is a darker greyish blue. Blue is my favorite color. I wear a lot of blue. The walls on my room are blue. I like going outside on a clear day and seeing a blue sky. To me its a cool comforting color.
