Jax Bayne is an autistic non-binary voidpunk professional, autodidact, sociocultural reformist, humanitarian, systems architect, meta analyst, and bhakti yoga practitioner. They received initiation into the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya Vaishnava spiritual tradition January of 2011 and are a diksa disciple of Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj, current president of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math.

Bayne was born on March 18, 1990 in Santa Cruz, California, USA as Gaia Libertad Puig to American educator Ellen Masten and Cuban-Spanish artist Adrián Bellesguard. Bayne's maternal grandparents are American Unitarian Universalist minister, speaking poet, and artist Ric Masten and American artist, singer, and actress Billie Barbara Bolton. Bayne's paternal grandparents are Cuban photographer & filmmaker Herman Puig and Cuban educator Adoración González de Chávez.

Bayne has worked doing web development, marketing, modelling, cosplaying, Twitch streaming, selling comic books, and axe throwing instruction. They first suspected they were autistic in 2012, but didn't receive their official autism diagnosis until late 2019, having been misdiagnosed with Bipolar II Disorder & Borderline Personality Disorder. They have been writing poetry and fiction as well as dabbling in the visual arts since childhood.

Bayne is on the asexual and aromantic spectrums in addition to being agender with transmasculine leaning. They have demand avoidance and executive dysfunction neurodiverse sub-traits in addition to sensory processing disorders, aboulia, gastrointestinal sensitivities, aphantasia, dissociative, depressive, and anxiety disorders.

Their work's central themes include meta analysis of traumagenic neurodevelopment in the contexts of sociocultural reform, memory reconsolidation, functional medicine, psychoneuroimmunology, and the social model of disability. Bayne's work also features advocacy of the voidpunk, autistic, and neurodiversity movements. Other themes in their work touch upon cognitive science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, sustainability, neurolinguistic programming, biotech, green tech, nanotech, behavioural engineering, genetic manipulation, collectivism, Vedic theology, metaphysics, ontology, deontology, epistemology, theoretical physics, transhumanism, the technological singularity, and more.
