Introduction
[edit]I am an undergraduate student at the University of Southern Indiana. I am majoring in literature with a minor in journalism. This is my third year at this university. During the first year, my major was chemistry with the hopes of becoming a general practitioner. I later switched my major to computer science. When that didn't go as well as planned, I decided I should major in something I am passionate about.

- I'm writing my first article about Layal Najib, a female journalist from Lebanon who died while covering the 2006 Lebanon War (See: List of journalists killed in Lebanon).
- A classmate is writing about the role of female journalists in covering the war.
- Two other classmates are writing about Najwa Qassem (living person) and a new article for Rima Maktabi.
