Hello, my name is Jake Tapley. I am sophomore at USI and am interested in pursuing English/Journalism. I am the Opinion Editor for The Shield at USI and have been enjoying the experience thus far. I also work at The Courier & Press part time as a Sports Clerk and run the Agate (Scoreboard) page.

Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite film writer/directors, and his film, The Prestige, is among my favorite movies. I enjoy listening to and playing alt-country music, along with genres such as rock, folk, pop, alternative rock and grunge. On occasion, I even enjoy some metal.
