JASON SHOZI Jaso Theboy is a Durban based contemporary Hip Hop,Producer and a Digital Creator. whose music is influenced by the likes of J.cole, Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller.When it comes to beats & producing, he is influenced by Dr Dre, 9th Wonder, Pharell Williams, Metro Boomin, and Kanye West. At the age of 13 he lost his brother at the shooing in Cape Town, which is when he took his music career serious as his brother’s passing became inspiration to his heart. He is also inpired by his mom through music because of the sufferring and struggle of not being able to afford clothes to wear at a very young age. Jaso recorded his first song in grade 7 with his friend. He used to skip classe so that he can record few tracks and develop his craft because when he got home there was never time to go to the studio and he had to do his homework and support the family business that his mom had provided at a young age. Having a father who is a pastor and a mother who is a christ beliver and police support never came easy , which eventually pushed him to drop som e visuals which made people end up telling his family he is a Golden Child.
