John Fastramp new article content ...
The original John Fastramp story, 'John Fastramp and the Dakota 3000 Challenge' was published in June 2007. The story was based on bedtime stories told by the author to his children. The author’s son loved racecars and so an amazing racecar, the Blue Spider, was invented. John and his friends traveled the world having new adventures and meeting new friends. Each night, John would end up in a precarious situation and the story would end with a cliffhanger ending.
After the success of Harry Potter, the author was encouraged to write the stories down and eventually a manuscript emerged and it was submitted to the local elementary school; the reading teacher loved the book and provided it to the fourth-grade teachers. Response from the children was so positive that the next step was publication. An amazing artist was engaged (http://www.studiokm.com/) and brought the story to digital life. The book sports beautiful artwork made some readers believe it is Japanese Manga.
The story was translated into Braille by the New York Institute of Special Education.
