Autism and aging

[edit]

Some children that transition into adulthood with ASD tend to still be dependent on their parents or caregivers, which results in them not being able to live independently because of lack of communication skills. [1] These young adults understand the importance and independence of adulthood and they try to have a sense of their longtime goals.[2]
