Local elections were held in the province of Nueva Vizcaya on May 13, 2019, as part of the Philippine general election. Voters selected candidates for all Local positions: a Municipal Mayor, Municipal Vice Mayor and Municipal Councilors, as well as Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the Governor, the Vice Governor, and a Representative for the lone district of Nueva Vizcaya to the House of Representatives. Those elected took their respective offices on June 30, 2019, for a three-year term. 213,529 of 278,898 registered voters voted in this election.

As the Governor, Vice Governor, and Member of the House of Representatives and Members of the Provincial Board are elected on the same ballot, Gubernatorial candidates may present a slate of candidates for each position per District within the Province.

Gubernatorial election

The incumbent Governor is Carlos Padilla, who was elected in 2016 election with 55.69% (91,105 votes) of the total votes counted.

Padilla is running for his second consecutive term. He is running under the Nacionalista Party, his main opponent is the incumbent Vice Governor Jose Gambito, who's running under the National Unity Party (NUP).

Vice Gubernatorial election

The incumbent Vice Governor is Epifanio Lamberto Galima, who was elected in 2016 election with 56.66% (85,490 votes) of the total votes counted.

Galima is running for his third and final consecutive term. He is running under Nacionalista Party, his sole and main opponent is Businessman Jose Tomas Sr., who is running under National Unity Party (NUP).

Congressional election

The outgoing Representative was Luisa Lloren–Cuaresma, who was elected in 2016 election with 45.77% (78,125 votes) of the total votes counted.

Cuaresma is running for her second consecutive term for Congress. Cuaresma is running under National Unity Party (NUP), she will be facing again former Governor Ruth Padilla of Nacionalista Party. She is the wife of incumbent Governor Carlos Padilla. Lawrence Santa Ana was also a candidate, running as an Independent.

Municipal elections

All municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya elected a Mayor and a Vice Mayor in the election. The candidates for Mayor and Vice Mayor with the highest number of votes wins the seat; they are voted separately. Therefore, they may be of different parties when elected.
