This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mystical Expressionism, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.jamali.com. I have nominated Jamali Fine Art, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jamali Fine Art. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Soap 22:57, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:ARTHISTORIAN2010 For the two Wikipedia pages that I am entering, the author Donald Kuspit is a notable art critic, writer, and contemporary art historian who has written two published texts on the artist, Jamali. Kuspit's major essays, on Jamali's contribution to contemporary art history, mystical expressionism, have been published in several editions by Rizzoli international publications inc. For your information Rizzoli is the most significant publisher having on his list major museums all over the world and also being known to publish only the most important artists of all time. Mark Strand, who is a contributer to Jamali's art history is also is on Wikipedia along with Rizzoli international publications. Philip Bishop is a contributer to Jamali's Art History is published by Prentice Hall has published "Adventures In The Human Spirit" prescribed in schools all over America.

Jamali-Artist

[edit]

Could you please reassure me that you have no connection with Jamali-Artist who suddenly stopped editing just before you created this username and proceeded to recreate an article that he had created but which had been deleted. Thank you. Harry the Dog WOOF 09:37, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ARTHISTORIAN2010 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Harry the Dog WOOF 09:39, 26 June 2010 (UTC) User talk:ARTHISTORIAN2010[reply]

Sock puppetry|sockpuppetry

[edit]

I am linked to Jamali-Artist only because I attempted to place a new article for editing and an administrator blocked me and would not unblock me so I could actually edit the document or even submit it to be reviewed again. The administrator was completely unhelpful and to be frank he was a completely rude towards me. I feverishly research how to become unblocked as so I could edit the page I wanted to place on Wikipedia but to no avail I could not find a solid answer and so I created this user. I would like to know if and how I can delete Jamali-Artist user. ARTHISTORIAN2010 (talk) 16:15, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you were blocked it is because your edits were unhelpful, and you have a conflict of interest. Creating a sock puppet to evade the block is completely inappropriate. Harry the Dog WOOF 16:17, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I did not know creating a second user account was a serious offense on Wikipedia. I was not trying to evade a block, I was trying to get help to remove it and edit bu the administrator was not responsive.
Yes, creating a second account when you have been blocked is not allowed. Otherwise, blocks would be pretty meaningless wouldn't they? From the message on the talk page when you were blocked:
"Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?
Probably not. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead." Thank you for the swift response and the wiki faq

Hello

[edit]

Thank you for the heads up

Taking stock of this whole situation

[edit]

I have closed the SPI (multiple accounts) case against you. If you keep the following in mind you should be alright from here on out.

  • Due to our goal of maintaining a neutral product, editing in an area in which you are invested in outside of Wikipedia is heavily discouraged, but not that it can't be done.
    • Any such edit that contains adjectives and superlatives is almost certainly going to be a problem though.
  • Unless there is a really good reason (see WP:Multiple Accounts), confine yourself to one account.
    • I have redirected all your other accounts to this one to clear up any confusion.

Hope to see you contribute further! Ask me if you have any further questions. extransit (talk) 08:15, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But the creation of articles about people or organisations with which you have a connection is strongly discouraged. You should certainly not recreate them after they have been deleted. This is something you have repeatedly done. If you feel a person or topic with which you are associated merits and article, there are procedures for requesting this in the FAQs I referenced above. But please do not keep creating them yourself. Harry the Dog WOOF 10:09, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have rewritten the Jamali article to meet with our guidelines, your welcome to look over it and make sure it is correct. extransit (talk) 20:13, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article creation request

[edit]

I am a new user of Wikipedia and for the past couple of weeks I've wanted to create a page for the artist by the name of Jamali. I have posted pages but they have been either blocked or deleted. Until this morning, I did not know that in order to create a Wikipedia page about to someone or something you are related with one has to ask an editor to create the page. I am an intern at one of the artists galleries. I would like an editor to create a page for the Jamali who is an Fine Artist who was born in 1944. Jamali's historical importance/contributions to contemporary art history:

1. Bishop, Philip E., Kuspit, Donald., “Jamali: Mystical Expression Dreams And Works”., Winter Park, Florida., Rizzoli International Publications, Inc. in Association with Art & Peace Inc., 2003

2. Kuspit, Donald, Strand, Mark., “Jamali: Mystical Expressionism”., Italy., Rizzoli International Publications, Inc. In Association with Art & Peace, Inc., 1997

Accomplishments

1. His work is compared to Abstract Expressionist, Jackson Pollack and neo-Expressionists Anslem Kiefer and George Baselitz.

2. He is an pioneering artist and creator of the art movement, Mystical Expressionism, coined by American art critic Donald Kuspit.

-Jamali is the first artist to create a ritual/performance painting method. He is the first artist to in history to add natural elements to paintings, the first artist to apply paint to cork with a distinctive style, and is the first artist in history to create a style in which pure pulverized pigments are bonded on to surfaces such as cork and glass.

If you need more information you can respond back to me or check out the page I previously created before I knew the Wikipedia by-laws. Also, I would like to know if an editor creates the page if I would be able to look it over before being published.

This article already exists, having been recreated by you after being deleted twice. It is currently proposed for deletion again, and if it is deleted based on community consensus it should not be recreated. Harry the Dog WOOF 18:35, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It has now been deleted for a third time. Harry the Dog WOOF 08:17, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
