Mutuke is a village in the Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State, Nigeria. Its administrative centre is in the town of Karim Lamido on geographic coordinates: 9°18′00″N 11°12′00″E / 9.30000°N 11.20000°E.
It is one of the several rural villages dominant in Nigeria but its name is part of the primary evidence that indeed Sub-Equatorial Africa, Central Africa through to Southern Africa have a common linguistic and cultural origin in the southern West Africa region that includes Nigeria.[1] There is place call Mutuke in Mungwi District, Northern Province, Zambia and there are numerous families with the surname Mutuke in Zimbabwe.
As of most villages around Karim Lamido Mutuke Village has various ethnic groups, including Bambuka, Bandawa, Dadiya, Fulani, Jenjo, Karinjo, Munga and Wurkun.
