MLA Jagdish Panchal

Shri Jagdish Ishwarbhai Vishwakarma was sworn-in as Minister of Cottage Industries, Co-operation, Salt Industries, Protocol (Independent Charge), Industries, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Printing and Stationary State Minister on September 17, 2021. Shri Jagdish Ishwarbhai Vishwakarma began his political journey as a Buth incharge in Thakkarbapanagar ward and got elected as MLA from Nikol constituency (Ahmedabad)in 2012 Gujarat assembly elections.

He began his political career in 1998. He has also served as the Convinior of Udhyog Cell Bjp Gujarat between 2013. Later on, he served as a President of Karnavati Bjp Ahmedabad city.

Shri Vishwakarma became a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the first time, by winning the election from Nikol constituency with a wide margin of 50,000 votes.

Born on August 12, 1973, in Ahmedabad, Shri Vishwakarma holds a B.A from Gujarat University Ahmedabad. A firm believer of ‘service before self,’ Shri Vishwakarma has been an active social worker since early age. He is also an active Swayam Sevak of RSS.

In his new role as the Minister of Gujarat State, Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma Vishwakarma sees a huge opportunity to serve the citizens of Gujarat and is committed to set new benchmarks of good governance in the state.

Beyond politics, Shri Vishwakarma enjoys playing badminton and cricket. Shri Vishwakarma is also serving as trustee at MIO Foundation.
