Article Evaluation

Last year I attended Snohomish High school and I wanted to see if the article for Snohomish Highschool on Wikipedia was as good as it could be. I visited the Snohomish Highschool article on Wikipedia and found three aspects of it worth commenting on Its lack of citations, information, and outdated information.

Citations

Throughout the history paragraph of the article, there are many citations missing that need to be included. There is also an entire alumni section dedicated to some of the most successful people to come from Snohomish Highschool. The alumni list is missing citations for 16 of the 18 alumni members. I think this could be improved if citations could be provided for the alumni.

Information

For the article, there was not a lot of information and it seems that more information could easily be added. The article only has a tiny box on the right side of the article with some simple facts about the school along with a small paragraph containing some of the history of the high school and lastly contains an alumni list containing 18 members. I think to make this article better more information needs to be added.

Outdated Information

As I looked at the information most of the information had dates to it such as the number of students and other statistics. Many of this information is outdated by at least 4 years. I think that making the dates on the article more recent it would make the article more accurate.

Summary

Overall, I would say this page definitely needs some work. I think it would be a lot better if there were more than an alumni section and a history section. I think they could add a section on sports and other events just to give it something else. I also think that more citations are necessary for the alumni section. This would help to make sure that the information on the article is accurate because currently there is no proof as to whether the alumni members attended the high school.
