I was professor at Télé-université (TELUQ), part of Université du Québec network (Canada) from 1986 until my retirement in 2016. I'm a trained physicist (Ph. D, optics and lasers, Laval University), but I consider myself more of a generalist. My main research interests were (1) use of information technology (multimedia, simulation) for science education, and (2) intellectual property in the academe, with a strong focus, and ongoing activities, on copyright and open access. As part of my retirement activites, I planned to maintain a steady contribution to Wikipedia, both in French (mainly) and in English. However, this has still to materialize... I haven't abandoned the idea though.
