The Trust Bank of Tasmania, commonly called simply Trust Bank was a government owned bank in Tasmania, Australia. It formed through the merger of the Tasmanian Savings Bank (formerly Hobart Savings Bank) and the Tasmanian Bank (formerly Launceston Savings Bank), and ran until when it was acquired by Colonial Limited in 1999 from the State Government.[1] Colonial itself merged with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in 2000.[2][3]
