I am a lawyer by profession - well, nobody's perfect, as Osgood Fielding III (Joe E. Brown) says in Billy Wilder's Some Like It Hot.

For years I have been using Wikipedia as an easy on-line reference, and I have engaged my kids to do the same - although never blindly relying on, but always counter-checking, contents and sources. I admire Wikipedia's foundation concept of free, non-for-profit, encyclopedia, made by collective contributions, and opened to all. I'd like to give back to the community by contributing to articles.

I speak French and English, and am particularly interested in history, literature, fine arts, architecture, music, democracy and the rule of law.
