Appearance
A ten-segment display is a type of display based on 10 segments that can be turned on or off according to the graphic pattern to be produced. It is an extension of the more common seven-segment display, usually having two additional vertical segments and a broken central horizontal segment. This provides a minimal method of displaying alphanumeric characters. A decimal point, a comma or both may also be included.
