I am JEOC, which stands for something or other. I am a teenage human of the male persuasion, and have grown up in the Sci-fi/fantasy subculture of the US. I am creating this page to provide you with a quick summation of my inherent biases, so that you know.

I am biased:
Against knee-jerkism
towards evidence and the facts that can be borne out by it
against trolls, bigots and cranks
against edit counting as a measure of standing
towards logic and its application
towards freedom and true equality
against racism, classism, ageism, sexism (both for and against females), and/or any other sort of discrimination based on a persons body, socio-economic standing et all. I am all for discrimination based on a persons actions, both recent and not so recent however.
against creationsim and intelligent design, as they have yet to provide a rational argument that does not have internal inconsistancies.
towards evolution
towards verifiable experts being given precedince in their field
