Where Jay is able to tell his story about his formulation, and survival in this 21st-century lifestyle. as a New York City native and just 20 years young, Jay has a lot to tell.

Emerging from Brooklyn, NY. Jay has created a multitude of platforms over the years on the underground music network. Known heavily in his past work for music released on the Soundcloud platform under the producer moniker of "oak" Prior work created by artist Jay were remixes fused of bouncy and trappy genres, putting the likes of artists' Bryson Tiller & Roy Ayers together, or Drake remixes dubbed with instrumentation of eras not typically put together. Through his work, he'd inadvertently built a humble following of musicians and other artists alike, and created movements for the underground culture. However, all grass doesn't stay green. Seasons change, as do souls. and with the economic state of where he resides, he'd become too occupied with the obligations of real life, to continue working on just his music, itself too had become part of the problem. & Jay's mother is a Stage III Cancer survivor, growing up in the city during this state has not been easy, and music is where he has unlocked himself, in spreading the message of what it is to conquer the odds and being true to self. Aiming to be an inspiration to those from the same grain as him. Setting an example for the youth from his generation.
